Hi guys, I have a powermac 5500 /225 with 48 MB RAM I'm having a strange problem with downloads and IE5. When I download files, the download speed gradually slows down over time, until its down to 1/10th of its usual speed. I notice this problem only while using mac os 9.1. To troubleshoot, I reformatted by hard drive, isntaleld OS 9.0 and then IE5. The problem DOES NOT occur now. i then reformmatted my hard drive, and instaleed OS 9.1, and then IE5. The problem DOES occur now. I've tried searching through apple and microsoft help files, but found no info. I've also run software update and updated to the newest versions of open transport but that didn't help either.
