Regarding my post about the G3/500 XLR8 processor upgrade in
a 9600/200, I bought EDO RAM for it because I thought it was faster.
Should I have bought fast page mode?

Would anyone care to describe to me the difference between
these two RAM types? I read that Apple had tested to see if the two
would run together and concluded it does so with no problem.

Particularly in the 9600, does anyone know which is the best
of the two to use?

        Thanks,
