        Yes, you can. I have done it many times. But, strangely 
enough, I found that the computer would freeze during desktop 
rebuilds when I was using that setup.

        You can do it and it will probably work. If your setup is 
such that you need to I would guess you could get by OK. The problems 
I ran into were minor and could be worked with.  But it is sort of 
asking for trouble so if you really don't need to, then don't.
