You can have several operating systems on the same hard drive or 2 different
hard drives in Windows. For example, you might want to switch between
Window 2000 and Windows 98 (why anybody would want to run Windows 98 is
beyond me!). When you turn on the computer, a little menu comes up allowing
you to choose which OS you want to boot.
You can also do this with any version of Windows and Linux.
But, as I said in my post of July 23, 2001 (where have you been?), the Mac
OS accomplishes this with much more finesse.
