I *do*understand that Patratto. Do *you* understand that this list is a PCI-based
PowerMac
list. G4's have a list of their own, as well as vintage Mac's and 1st powerMac's. I
am
typing this from a G4/733/2x60gb HD's/18gb SCSI/43gb Raid/1gb RAM/Superdrive model. I
also
use an 8500 regularly, and I own one of every Macintosh ever made except for 3. (this
list
is meant to show that I understand that all kinds of people use all kinds of machines
here...not a "list' or a "resume"). I just try to discuss appropriate topics
here....as we
have for several years. Before this was even a Maclaunch list. Years before you were
here. The *main* focus of this list is Beige (non-g3) PCI based powermac's. Quoted
directly from LEM:

PCI PowerMacs exists as a forum for users of Power Macintosh and other
PowerPC-based Mac OS computers which use PCI slots and are based on the PowerPC
601, 603, and 604 processors. This includes Radius, DayStar, Power Computing,
Motorola StarMax, and Umax SuperMac computers, among others. Note that G-List has
been set up especially for owners of the Power Macintosh G3 and G4. The 1st
PowerMacs list has been set up especially for owners of pre-PCI Power Macs.

We tolerate all kinds of questions and rants here, but sometimes people get mean and
snipe.
That's why I was irritated.
