Jim,
I don't think that Kyle meant you couldn't put a zip drive into your 9500, I
think he saw your message the same way I did, which prompted him, as it did
me, to think you were attempting something very difficult, which would
require much pain on your part to accomplish, and probably never work.

I believe that Kyle has assumed, like I have, that the Zip in question is an
older Zip100 SCSI external, you know, in the blue IOMEGA case, due to the
comment you made about it looking (QUOTE)"like the chassis would be very
unprotected without its plastic shell".  It would be next to impossible to
mount this drive internally in your 9500.  However, perhaps you meant that
you have a regular old internal-type Zip SCSI currently mounted into some
kind of 3rd party case/housing.  If this is true, then you will probably be
able to mount that into your 9500 with minimal effort.

I hope that I haven't confused the issue further, and sorry, Kyle, if I
completely misread your post, but I think you and I are on the same
wavelength here.
