3.5" 1/2 height or shorter fits. (1.625" or 41.4mm tall is the recommended
maximum height, which I believe is called a 1/3 height. The drive should be
the same width as the floppy drive, but shorter in height.) The internal bus
is 50 pin Fast SCSI. (SCSI 2), but a SCSI 1 drive will work. The CD drive
bay is for a 5.25" 1/2 height device. If you only have a single hard drive
in the Mac, it needs to be terminated. If you have a CD drive, the hard
drive is still terminated, and its ID number must be 0, 1, 2, 4, 5 or 6.
(whichever is not in use by external peripherals.) AppleCD drives are
normally ID 3.
