Wow, you're lucky to have an ambient of 22C in the middle of summer.
My ambient's up to 32C these days. The G3's at least 36C+. I think my
Barracuda generates more heat than the card anyway.

Just curious, what are you're 7200 rpm drives?

Although I do agree heat is an enemy (it's amazing they can handle
60C (140F)), the toll this enemy takes, and for how long is the big
question.

Within three years, if your processor card blows up, at whatever
temperature, Sonnet will replace it. So if the rest of your computer
hasn't melted as a result, you're still in business.

Personally, if I'm still using my 8500 with it's G3/400 in 2004, I'll
shoot myself.
