At the risk of this being long tedious OT and .... I submit this tech.
support session log with @home regarding the bounced email problems the list
has been having lately.
 I was going to highlight  with comments like, "GROVEL", "STALL", and "Pass
the Ball" but you can insert where appropriate.

Subject: AT&T Broadband Product Support Session Log

  CSR "Thank you for contacting AT&T @Home my name is Eric. I apologize to
you for your problems with email."
  CSR "Is your email address bouncing emails sent to it?"
  CUS "recieved notice from  a news list mom that I am being bounced"
  CUS "yes"
CSR "is [EMAIL PROTECTED] the email address that is bouncing emails?"
  Message Sent      CUS "The list mom said it is a problem...yes"
      CUS "... that is happening with @home subscribers"
      CSR "are you getting email from off our network?"
      CUS "BTW it is inconsistant...intermitent"
      CSR "could you obtain a copy of one of the bounced emails?"
      CSR "and forward it to me"
      CSR "my email address is [EMAIL PROTECTED]"
      CUS "ummmm....if it bounced, I wouldn't have recieved it ...right?"
      CSR "Correct, you would need to get it from the person who it bounced
to"
CSR "it has an error code it that our network administrators would need to
get this resolved in a timely manner"
CUS "This is a newsgroup that has 10s of subscribers"
CUS "I recieve it in digest form so"
CUS "I don't imagine I could get a copy"
CUS "I can send you ta copy of"
CUS "one that I did recieve"
CSR "That would be great"
CUS "address?"
CSR "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
CSR "Just to let you know, this is not the first newlist that I have heard
having these problems.  Yahoo groups also is getting intermittent bounces
from use"

CSR "take all the time you need"
CUS "it's off"
CUS "BTW how is broadband diff. from @home?"
CSR "@home is a division within AT&T Broadband,  Broadband covers @home,
cable TV, and digital telephone"
CUS "and internet?"
CSR "Yes, including @home internet service"
CUS "is that  restricted to certain areas?"
CSR "Yes, you have @home"
CSR "It only works where we have upgraded the cable system"
CUS "so I can't get combined services?"
CSR "At this time we do not offer bundled services, we may in the future
though"
CSR "As for your bounced emails, I have escalated this matter to our network
technicians and we will get this issue resolved for you"
CUS "Gracias!"
CSR "Is there anything else I can help you with?"
CUS "Not today, the sun is out in Seattle"
CSR "Thank you for choosing AT&T @Home"
