look closely at the dual processor at the XLR8 site
http://www.xlr8.com/ProductInfo/machvelocity/index.html and you will see that
one processor is plugged into a special board with both a ZIF socket and a
processor on it, which is then put into the ZIF socket on the MPe carrier

My single G3 350 in my 7500 running at 400 MHz is down right snappy. I have not
done any bench marking on it but it is much faster than the G3 300, and original
iMac we have at work.
