Greetings Everyone!
I recently picked up a 9500/132 ( sans monitor, mouse and keyboard ) and
I have been having a learning experience ever since. A few pieces of
information about the system I picked up: original O/S was 7.5.1. , but was
upgraded to 8.5 prior to my aquiring the system. It has 50 mb of RAM (
upgradable to well over 700 mb ) and a whole lot of things I've neither seen
nor heard of before, considering I've been using a Compaq for the last 3
years and a "Bill Gates O/S". So, in essence, I can be called the newest
newbie on the block.
Is there anyplace on the internet where I can see the different components
( general ) of the Mac system, as well as descriptions for what each part
is, what it does, etc.? I've tried to follow everything that has come
through for the last week, but I still encounter terms and stuff that I've
not heard before.
Also, anyone know of any sites that will have the software, instructions
etc, for the system and programs that are loaded on the system in question?
Any / all information will be appreciated. Thanks!
Blessings to All.....
Donald
