Do you need the CD to upgrade a pre G3 from 9.1 to 9.2.1?
I downloaded OS 9.2.1 update from the Apple Download site
Changed my 7600 / Sonnet G3 Gestault from 68 to 510 OK.
But OS 9.2.1 would not load. Installer started OK , but Got error message
"--this version of mac OS cannot load over localized version of mac OS9.1
on disk---" ( tried with extensions OFF, but no luck)
went to "second method" , but downloaded file is read only & cannot change
Upgrader Files
Any ideas
