Why wait?
It all depends on what you use or really need your graphic card for.
You can still install OSX like I did on my 7600 /Sonnet G3 Card that
initially had an ATI Rage Orion video card
I just removed the video card and connected my VGA monitor via a
VGA/Mac adapter to the monitor port.
Installing OSX was then a piece of cake.
At least I am happily working OSX and waiting for a video card patch fix
is a secondary priority for me as I do not do "games". Actually, with
built-in 4MB of VRAM my monitor display is not bad at all for some of
the sample games I found on the web.
