I have to say OS 9.2.1 is a dubious install. I just installed it on
my Beige G3 with a motorola 466mhz zif card on another Hard Drive.
All you end up with is more problems. I didn't notice any real
significant improvements. In fact, my ixMicro ultimate rez card
conflicts with Behierarchic. I had similar problems in OS 9.04 but
went away in OS 9.1, only to return in OS 9.2.1. Not sure why Apple
has never worked to include icons in the submenus, at least an option
to do so. I have always liked this extension, along with FinderPop
and Default folder. Behierarchic 4.2 seems especially fast in OS 9.1.
It makes navigation so much easier.
In any case, OS 9.2.1 must just be an install if you are planing to
install OS X.
