I haven't researched the XLR8 cards but I can give a suggestion.
I also have a 7600 and recently upgraded it using a Sonnet Tech G3 400 MHz
upgrade card and very pleased about it, they retial for about $230 now. For
some reason the Sonnet G3 500 MHz is the fastest one there, compared to the
benchmarks list at the bottom of this page
