G-Man > Friends don't let friends do Windows I have a Sonnet ATA 66 Card with a Maxtor Diamond Max Plus 60 ATA 100 (7200RPM, 2M cache), personally I would not use a HD with less than a spindle speed of 7200RPM with a ATA card. If you do buy an ATA card then I would go with the ATA 100 models, more compatibility with HDs, CDs and DVDs. Maxtor, Quantum, and IBM make good and reliable drives but there has been some problems with Western Digital drives and ATA cards.
