Hey there,

Just bought a Starmax 4000 from OWC, as well as the proper memory for it,
but when I turn it on I get the chime and then just a blank, totally bright
white screen. It never goes to the classic gray with rounded corners, just
sits there. I left it like that for a good hour or so so it's not a matter
of a long memory check. Tried zapping the PRAM, pressing the cuda button,
etc etc, to no avail. I've tried it with no devices connected, and with
CDROM and HD connected. With the HD connected, it just spins up and spins
down endlessly.

Any ideas? Is it dead? Or might it be a memory problem? I got 2 64 meg chips
so I'm stuck with the one arrangement.

Thanks,
Scott Holder
