Yup. Allow me to elaborate a bit...
Thought I'd install my newly acquired USB card into my 7600 and hook
up my newly acquired Epson printer this morning, on the fly, while I
was getting ready for work.
Didn't work-Epson printer icon showed up in Chooser and in Eudora
just fine. USB card showed up as 'unidentified' card in PCI slot in
Apple System Profiler.
Went to work.
(ran around looking busy, acted busy,-visited Apple's download
site(twice)- appeared busy, talked like I was busy...)
Came home from work.
Downloaded and installed Apple's USB Adapter Card Support 1.4.1.
Uninstalled, reinstalled Epson drivers. Still didn't work. Epson
drivers seem to be fine-purty lil' pictures of my new printer
scattered throughout my apps, including the Chooser, card now shows
up as USB card in PCI slot under Apple System Profiler, but still no
USB port choice in the Chooser.
Have rebuilt desktop, hit CUDA after installing the card this
morning, have installed and reinstalled all aspects of the software
twice-except for OS(running 8.6).
Help?
