I haven't a clue since I bought the machine second hand. All I know is that
before the hard drive died it ran like a top, smooth as silk with freezes so
rare I forgot what they were like.

I could buy more RAM and add 64MB chips, would that help?

How did you know the Sonnet card was the problem? I'm not sure if I have all the
documentation on this card.

I have no idea where the card came from. I've been trying to troubleshoot this
thing for 9 months. I think part of my problem is the HFS hard drive instead of
the HFS+ set up. I just tried to update to OS9.1 and it won't let me. Also I
purchased the Pro keyboard and mouse only to find it lacks a power on switch on
the keyboard. Who's bright idea is that? How do you do a forced reboot with this 
keyboard?
