the RAM interleaving should be at fault. Is the hard drive completely

I don't think this is the problem anymore. Something to do with the drive.

I'm not familiar with this particular keyboard. You might have to 
push the button on the front of the Mac.

At what point does your hard drive die? If you boot from your 9.1CD, 
how does the hard drive seem. You can test it, and fix it, with Disk 
First Aid which should be on the 9.1CD. If this is OK, you might just 
want to backup your data, and reformat and reinstall 9.1.

Anyone else have a clue?
