I'm fairly sure the video output of my Starmax 3000/200 is dying. I have to
restart the machine several times until it finally puts out a signal. Once
on, it seems ok. So I am not turning it off until I find another card. Will
a PCI video card solve the problem, or does the difficulty extend further?
If so, what is a cheap Starmax-compatible PCI video card, with a VGA output
connection? (The VGA is desirable but not a must - I have an adapter). Best
I have found is a Radius Thunder TX1152 at $40., New - but I am not
necessarily looking for acceleration. Is this a good deal?
My normal e-mail over here is on strike - something very wrong with the
incoming server, so please send me any suggestions, and where to find it, at
[EMAIL PROTECTED], at least for today.
TIA
Kim
