This is kinda interesting, I've been hearing a lot about people getting bad items from OWC. I'm personally 0/3 for correct-and-working on the first try orders from them, so I'm not too sure I'll use them again. They've always been nice and friendly and happy to (at least try) to fix the orders, but as yet none are resolved and it's not too good. Just for the record, the first order was for two 64 meg DIMMS for my 6500, one was bad and I've sent it back, haven't heard back yet. The second was supposed to be a minitower Starmax 4000 from the yard sale thing. I got a desktop model instead. E-mailed them asking about it, and mentioned that if the minitowers were gone I'd be happy to keep the desktop unit. In the meantime I'd ordered two 64 meg DIMMs for it, and all I could get out of it was a blank white screen white screen. They e-mailed me, told me to send the unit back for a minitower. I sent it back, and then got an e-mail telling me they were out of minitowers and had been since before I placed my order. And, I had asked them to retest it given my troubles and they assured me it was working. So, that means that one or both of the DIMMs from that order are bad too (because of the memory setup of the Starmax, I can't be sure if it's one or both). So, it sounds like they have some communications and quality control problems. They have good prices, but it would be difficult for me to recommend them to someone.
