Hey folks, I have the Clink-Klank sound from System 6. It was a bit of a pain to get, but I got it ;) I had to open up the System file in Resedit, as the System 6 System file didn't want to open like a Suitcase. From there, I copied the entire snd resource into the clipboard, then pulled one of the standard MacOS 8.1 sounds out of the 8.1 System Suitcase. I opened that up in resedit, and pasted the hex code from Clink-Klank over top of it, and voila, we have a functional Klink-clank.
I've posted a stuffed copy on my webspace at: www.mindspring.com/~s_holder/clinkklank.sit . All you need to do is save it somewhere, unstuff it, and then drag the resulting file onto your System suitcase in your system folder. I know it works with MacOS 8.1, I'll be interested to hear what else it works with. I don't see why it shouldn't work with everything up to 9.2 or whatever the latest is these days.
