Maybe there is something to do with OS, total RAM given program, and type of Mac? Someone running OS X isn't having a problem with it. So what is different with it?
How much total RAM do you have? Someone on another list recommended 64 mb RAM for any Netscape software running on a PowerMac. I did try Netscape 6.0 and it crashed all the time. I gave it 80 mb RAM too. Didn't make a difference. I was running OS 8.6 at the time. I wonder if 9.1 would have been better? Before you give up try the forums on Macfixit. Someone may have found some answers there. > RosaKiana, I *knew* someone would ask if I gave the thing enough memory, > that is why I said <quote> And yes, before you ask, I gave it plenty of > memory. <unquote>. 50 megs.
