Well, all this talk about browsers I just HAD to get
my two cents in. I'm really tired of IE like everyone
else, especially if you've got the same reservations
about Microsnot that I do. Personally, I wish all
browser developers would consider making browsers more
commercial; that is, at a price. I would pay up to
$30 for a browser that could handle EVERY standard on
the net. Think of it, each of these browsers could
then come with the coverage and backing you would
expect with any software program you pay for. As a
web designer, I am sick and tired of Microsnot making
their own standards on the net that are so complicated
for everyone else that it takes a very long time if at
all for these new standards to reach the compatability
for other browsers. What's worse, if you complain to
Netscape about this, or other companies offering free
browsers, they will say the same thing; you didn't pay
for it, so stop complaining. Mozilla is probably the
most interesting browser available, with the most up
to date development team behind the software, it's
worth a download. Finally, I use and like Netscape 6
for the most part, but if you type like me at 103
words a minute, you'll have to type and lean back and
wait for the browser to catch up! I can't believe how
slow this damn thing is! It cracks me up. Anyway,
that's my two cents.
