The AGP equipped Macs that is recent enough supported some peecee agp cards. Yes, do need the driver to enable acceleration, after all, these Matrox cards are accelerated video cards. Did your card come from a Mac? >From PC, had to replace flash IC for larger one to work and this conversion was successful. On that dipswitch: IRQ enable or disable.
