I've tried pulling it. It's connected to the weird thing in the CD-ROM bay and can't go any longer. The black thing is probably a scsi terminator. Unfortunatly there isn't a bezel for a CD-ROM in the top. You have to fashion one yourself. If I get the zip to work, I'd be happy to send you my old bezel to play with.
