i've recently got myself a Power Mac 7300/180, and also found some Newer Technology hardware upgrades that I was hoping I could use with it...unfortunately I heard that Newer Technology just went out of business, so I'm turning to this forum for any information/experience or suggestions that anyone has.
I have a MaxPowr G3 PDS PowerPC 750 Processor Upgrade - that says it is for a 6100, 7100, and 8100...will this possibly work in a 7300? Does anyone have this card, or has tried this upgrade? I also have a Newertech L2 cache (1M Simm) that says the same thing in the Lit: for a 6100, 7100 or 8100...i'm thinking both of these products predate the 7300 but might still be compatible?
