In 1999, KIWI advertised the 6500 internal GV 56k modem for $89. this is the same modem that many 6400 users have placed in their Macs. The modem MUST have software. If it doesn't then it won't work as the Telecom software for the Geo is different than the GV's. I think the OS 8 install CD does have this software in the CD Extras folder under Telecom (serial). KIWI has no web site but can be reached at 1-800-334-KIWI.
