This question seems to come up at least once a week at least on various LEM lists. It appears this a big problem with vintage Macs (or in my case, Mac clone) in the PPC arena. What gives. Is there a FAQ item on this FAQ people? What's the URL? One of the gurus can write a white paper on "why old Macs don't give good video even though they start up and everything seems fine...." Inevitably, someone is going to suggest the PRAM battery, restarting with apple-option-PRAM, cleaning the fan or some other "solution." All the best...............
