Has anyone ever used the ADB ALPS Glidepoint on their Macs? I just won an auction on eBay for the "home" version for $7.00. The auctions seem to end for really low amounts. Are these things just junk? Do they work with ease? How precise are they? It seems like a neat idea anyway. If anyone has one of these on their Macs, let me know what you think of them. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, they are "trackpads" similar to what you see on PowerBooks. They dectect our body energy when you place your finger on the pad, and when you move your finger along the pad, so does the mouse pointer.
