Jess,

I have an ADB ALPS Glidepoint connected to my 9600. I bought it on Ebay
because it was cheap and now it is all that I use. I think they are great.
I absolutely love trackpads. These are not junk. They are great space
savers. They are very easy to use. It may take a little time to get used to
it, but it will not take that long. They are very precise. I am not sure
where I found the control panel but you will need it. You can use the
trackpad without the control panel, but there are three programmable buttons
on the trackpad. Without the control panel, they will act just like a
single click. If you want I can email you the control panel if you contact
me off the list @ [EMAIL PROTECTED]
