I like XLR8's software MaCH speed control panel, but you need an XLR8 
accelerator serial number.

XLR8's free PowerCentral test suite application is great for 
_testing_ RAM, but its display of each bank's contents doesn't work 
accurately in newer Macs. However, PowerCentral should work fine in a 
x500, though.
