They do, and the performance increase (if it works) is palpable. However, as
Kyle already mentioned, deinterleaving RAM is the first step in trying to
rescue a balky G3 daughtercard.

Privately I think the problem is due to small differences in actual RAM
speed that a faster CPU is just more sensitive to, but I have no real evidence
for this theory.
