FWIW. I have gradually increased my RAM since 1997, very much mix-matched (70ns/60ns), etc., except with all being pairs interleaved. 2 X 16, 2 x 64MB, 2 X 64, 2 X 128. I've been running the total 544 fully interleaved with my Sonnet G3/400. I think this DIMM interleaving business rivals SCSI voodoo in predictability. I would start interleaved, then de-interleave if necessary; you won't miss too much. If you have time on your hands, you can interleave some DIMMS and leave others. I wouldn't blame the cards outright. Although Sonnet's do tend to head the list of not handling interleaving well, you can see from my post and others that this is not entirely accurate. Since may people successfully interleave various cards, I would send back any card that couldn't deal with interleaving.
