When a G3 card is installed in this same machine, the bus speed is automatically lowered to about 45.5 MHz. With an 8.5 clock multiplier, a 400 MHz G3 (copper) is running at about 387 MHz (193 MHz L2 cache speed). With a 6.5 clock multiplier, a 300 MHz G3 (aluminum) is running at about 295 MHz (197 MHz L2 cache speed). These particular G3 cards do not have an adjustable bus speed.
