What is the cable called? Is it unique to the Supermac, therefore
called a Supermac cable?

I deduce from your explanation that I have to have another monitor
just to be able to configure the control panel for the Supermac, and I
can't just hook the Supermac up to the onboard video of my 7500.
Probably because the Supermac only has color signals in the cable
(only 6 wires), with no sync signal? I'm wondering if I can patch a
cord together, given the right connectors and pin diagrams (I may be
dreaming here).

I have a Radius Thunder card, will be leisurely lookin' for a cord and
may take you up on that someday ;-)
Thanks Jim
