Started up my 7300/180 running OS 8.6 this morning as normal. After ten minutes or so it froze so I did an Apple+Control+Delete. No start-up chime - a black monitor screen.
It powers up via the keyboard and the HD sounds to spin up normally - but nothing else. The button on the front of the case turns it off. The monitor LED briefly shows green then 'clicks' and changes to orange. I've disconnected the external SCSI chain, changed the PRAM battery, unplugged and reseated all of the main RAM, the Cache RAM, Video RAM, the processor board and all of the other connectors. Have tried another keyboard and another monitor - no go. Have tried booting from a CD - no go! Basically, what else can I try or what's the likely cause?
