There is no difference in CDR quality as far as color goes. That's a myth. Do
some research. It's all cosmetic:

There are some *unproved arguements* that dyed CDR's provide longer lasting media,
or better sound (not data) quality, but it is the opinion of almost every educated
Tech in the world that Dye's have no affect on data. CDR's are manufactured to
different quality levels, so choose your brand carefully. I use Fuji, Maxell,
Hypermedia 32x, Sony and TDK primarily. I have had bad luck with Kodak, so I NEVER
use their media. It's quite obvious that the different burning mechanisms play a
part in the quality of the end product as well so YMMV.
I recently bought a spindle of 100 CDR's (16x) at Comp USA for $27.99 with a $10
mail in rebate...so you're right. I am wrong. They were only 18� each...not 20�.
