So are you saying that the printer is moving as though you are printing but the ink is just not coming out? Or are you saying that the print monitor tells you that the print job has started but the printer is not doing anything at all?
I had a problem where the ink wasn't coming out of the 740 at all. It looked and sounded like the printer was working and the paper was coming through but each time the paper was blank. I found that the generic ink I was using was the culprit (that's why it was cheap =P). It kept drying up and when I switched back to the Epson ink tanks, the printer worked fine from then on. You could also have a problem with the print head.
