Hi, Paul....With all that RAM, I'd go with OS 8.6. After you install it, strip out all the USB and Firewire extensions + a bunch of other extraneous apps. and it will purr like a kitten... I've done it on several 6100's with only 72 megs RAM, so I can imagine what it will run like with 136megs!!! My $.02 worth Mikie
