First off, that's not a PCI model....

Anyhow, we've had three at home, and I supported over two dozen at my
last job, and after trying 8.6, I decided the poor old 6100 was just too
slow and went back to 8.1. The 6100s at work started as 16 MB machines
(System 7.5.5) and were upgraded to 40 MB before we upgraded to 8.1. The
home machines had 80 MB RAM.

If you have an accelerator or video card, you may see different results.

I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by
reorganizing, and what a wonderful method it can be for creating the
illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficiency, and
demoralization. -- Petronius
