Hard to guess. Problems with any CD or just those you have recorded? 
Apple or other brand? Could be that it needs cleaning also. There are 
disks you can get to do this for you (kits, actually, kind of like you 
used to get for old 5 1/4 floppy cleaning).

The floppy most likely needs cleaning. Fuzz and stuff collects and gums 
up the works. Try the FAQ <http://macfaq.org/index.shtml> for procedures. 
Easy fix, really.
