Has anybody run into this?

All of a sudden, the hard drive (IBM 18meg scsi ext (DNES - 318350Y))
disapppears from desktop, won't mount.

No recovery software will recognize the thing, Disk Warrior, TTs, etc.

SCSI Probe and Anubis Utility identify the drive by name, but report zero
megs and that the disk is "not ready." SCSI Probe reports SCSI error -7932
(2), sense 4 (0). I think this means the disk is not ready.

Drive Setup 1.9 sees the drive but says there is "no disk in drive" - as if
it were a removable.

Does any one know a way to save this drive or at least mount it to recover
what's on it?

This is the second scsi in a row that has gone down in an odd way.

Both were on upgraded 7600's with CharisMac/9.1 on the disk, but the machine
was running 8.6 at the time from another scsi disk. IE (MS Office) was
running at the time! Both machines have HFS and HFS+ drives on the SCSI
chain.

Any help very much appreciated.
