hi anyone ever put RAM in a 4400?
I know the online specs: 3 slots, and slot1 can only take single-bank dimms and the other two can take double-bank dimms. But when I opened the machine I am astounded as the bad placement of the RAM slots. I can't find any good "Take-aparts" for this machine. Putting the hard drive in was no trouble, but these RAM slots are obscured by this overhanging case and PCI card and power supply and IDE cables. What a mess! I am just wondering how much I have to take apart to put than RAM in? And which is slot 1? There's no indication anywhere which is one #1 ! (I can't see well in there either) Hmmm... I have some RAM for my 7200 as well, but that will be no problem., Much better case. :( mx [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
