Well I have a 7300/200 with 64MB RAM (I know, I know, but I can't afford
anymore at the moment). What you may find even more miraculous is that
the guy I got it from had a complete PC Compatibility card with all the
necessary hardware but missing the Mac software. I soon fixed that by
gettin PC Setup 1.6.4 and upgrading it to 2.1.7 and now it runs fine.
I'm running OS 9.1 and although it isn't exactly up to G3 speed it is
certainly good enough to work in.
The only problem I have sometimes is the machine seems to emit high
pitched noise. It mostly went away after I put the PC card in (strange
but true!) but is sometimes there. It seems to be the PSU, is it dying?
