Joe, My old LCIII still hasn't recovered. The menu Apple and the trash turned to 1 bit black and white and stayed that way thru rebuilds and Zaps :-) A month after that mishap I was working in Aldus SuperPaint 3.5 in my Centris and File Sharing dialogue box messages relative to the LCIII started popping up - the LCII hadn't been used for weeks and wasn't on or even serial connected. I did a Save As on the SuperP. file I was working in when the messages came; trashed the original in my Norton "wipe info" trash can (love it for stuff like that) and the ghost of file-sharing past never again rattled my chain.
