Try trashing the XLR8 control panel and extension and reinstalling them (and reserializing them, of course). You should trash your XLR8 preferences also.
Also, XLR8 writes some code either into a very early loading part of the operating system or undocumented areas of PRAM. If the above doesn't work, I would next check your XLR8 troubleshooting section of your manual, then have a look at XLR8's troubleshooting section on their website, then email them. In the extreme, it might be necessary to reinstall the System _file_, but I would leave that as a second to last resort. The last resort is always to reinstall your system folder. I would very much appreciate you keeping me updated on this as I have had an XLR8 upgrade for 2 months and would like to be aware of any solutions to future problems.
