Most after the 7200 but before the Beige G3 used the same RAM controller chip. Therefore, all models using this same RAM controller treat EDO as FPM. EDO RAM is capable of extending the validity of the "data out" signal (whence comes the appellation "EDO"), whereas FPM will not (and cannot) extend this validity.
