Hello All,

Thanks for the help, but get this:

1. I installed my old copy of 7.5.3 just to see if hardware was a problem or
not. It installed perfectly and ran fine.

2. I then put in the OS 9 CD-it installed perfectly over 7.5.3.

3. I then erased the drive and ran the OS 9 installer again without
installing 7.5.3-bingo! Now it worked as did the 9.1 update.

My question now if why it decided to work now--but given it is software who
knows for certain. You know the old saying that the third time is the charm?
In my case it was the fourth time. I guess it proves the old saying that "If
at first you don't succeed-try try again" only in my case, it was "try, try,
try, try again."

Thanks,
Troy
